Webmail is working again. Also, a heads up about the .com domain moving to our new server. Key word being our (server).

Webmail, .com site move

by nils devine

Our old host (who still does our email), changed their webmail address on us. Our link is fixed, here you go:
http://www.rakehell.net/email/

(you might have to hold ctrl+refresh (Internet Explorer) or shift+refresh (Netscape) to clear your computer's memory of the old broken page) Or you can go here: http://209.81.157.216/.

.com Move

You may have noticed that this site is actually living at the address rakehell.net, not the .com. You may also have noticed that you can get at the old site if you know the address of a specific page. And I know some of you do, because I get search reports from Atomz, so somebody is using the site search that I haven't moved over yet. Also, our .com email addresses are still stuck on the old host's email server.

Soon this will all change. Scheduled in May we will be moving email to our own server, hosted by our very own server admin Michelle (yeah for Michelle, we love Michelle!). We will keep you faithful email users highly informed about this move as it approaches, and let those who have been waiting for a rakehell address know as soon as they are available.

I have a question for you ever so forgiving members. What resources from the old site should I be certain to rescue before the move? I have plans to move the Romantic Times Conference and Regency Tea photo galleries, and Cybil is working on her References. Post a comment below, or email us if you can think of anything else we're forgetting!

P.S. I do keep everything backed-up, so nothing will be lost, only forgotten and mis-placed if nobody reminds me to move it.

Please move her site to the new server. Also, please provide an alt. email address I can contact you at. I am looking for my login information to ftp over some new files and lost my info. Thanks Rochelle
